It was my first time visiting the place! I liked the interior design and the separate area where you could drink the coffee. Pretty spacious. I tried their Thai nitro and black sesame chocolate muffin. I also tried a sip of honey latte my friend ordered. The drinks were pretty good. Nitro isn't something I'm used to, so I will probably order a regular latte next time. Their pastries also looked all yummy, so I couldn't resist getting one. The muffin was delicious. The staff were all friendly too.

I stopped by for a quick breakfast sandwich before running errands. There's usually a line but it goes quickly. The staff is exceptionally friendly. I got my sandwich to go and was pleasantly surprised that it still came on a plate. It had a beautiful cheese pull and hit the spot.

Night Bar Review I've only experienced the nighttime bar at this spot, which was fantastic! The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about their cocktails and whiskeys, making the evening even more enjoyable. The vibe here is perfectly laid-back and welcoming. You walk in and grab a clipboard menu, your cups, and a water glass. Once ready, head to the counter to place your order, and they'll bring your drinks and food to your table. Drinks: The 1oz House-Infused Talk Shot (Mahina Island Rum, coconut, and espresso) is a must-try! It's refreshing, sweet, and smooth--like a lighter version of an espresso martini, minus the creaminess. We loved it so much that we couldn't resist taking home an 8oz "Capri Sun" drink bag. Food: The menu offers tasty finger foods that pair perfectly with cocktails. Highlights include hummus and naan, grilled cheese, popcorn, and the "girl dinner" (a fun mix of olives, berries, and pickles). All the bites were simple yet delicious--a perfect complement to the drinks. The atmosphere strikes the ideal balance between chill and fun, with great staff and a well-curated menu of food and drinks. I'll be back soon for another round!

At night: Amazing staff. THE yummiest cocktails. Really fun and inspired food. In the morning: Great staff. Coffee drinks a bit burned, but fun offerings of syrups and drink. Wonderful selection of quality food. Lots of street parking and 2 paid municipal lots within walking distance. A fair amount of indoor seating and some outdoor seating on the sidewalk in a nice neighborhood. Clean bathrooms! Wonderfully, artfully decorated.

A staple coffee shop in Kaimuki that turns into a cocktail bar at night. The space is laid out with the coffee bar and ordering counter in the center with seating on both sides. There is a good amount of indoor seating with different nooks for people to sit in. There is a good variety of coffees -- the Thai Nitro was good! The pastries are good -- especially the cinnamon rolls and I have also heard that the quiches are worth a try. The baristas are sweet and quick as well. At night, the cocktail bar is pretty self-directed as you pick up your clipboard menu and grab bottles of water on your own before heading to your table. Then, you order off your menu. We got a Sneaky Smash, Ode to Oaxaca, Curry Lemonade, and some sort of lemon non-alcoholic drink. The Curry Lemonade was different and did taste like drinking curry, if that is what you are looking for. The other drinks were enjoyed by the table, especially the lemon drink -- sweet and syrup-y. This is a great spot in Kaimuki for drinks throughout the day and into the night with parking on the street and in lots around Kaimuki.

Cafe in downtown Kaimuki on a corner spot! Parking is street parking. Really lovely atmosphere for sitting and doing work, catching up with a friend, or just enjoying a relaxing coffee morning. Good vibes! Relatively quiet even though it's busy. Open concept space with high ceilings and lots of sunlight. Coffee drinks aren't the most aesthetically pleasing, but there's a rich coffee taste, and the milk foam was well done. They sell pastries, quick bites and sandwiches as well. A bit pricier but coffee quality is worth it.

Formerly known as Coffee Talk on the corner of Waialae and 12th Avenue in Kaimuki, Talk Kaimuki still hosting the most delicious sweet and savory bites, coffee and teas, and a great space to hang out with friends or just get some remote work time in. Liz, the proprietor is so nice and always has great suggestions! I always ask her what she recommends that day. Parking is easy in the municipal lot just around the corner..!
